These are the people who want to talk to your kids

These are the people who want to talk to your kids

School districts all over Texas are grappling with stealth efforts by LGBT activists to transform what students actually learn.

Currently in Texas the debate rages about what to do with SB3, something proposed that deals with transgender bathroom access.

The Human Rights Campaign is pushing “Welcoming Schools” on children as young as four or five, and they are not the only ones attempting to replace standard arithmetic, reading, writing, and science, with shamelessly inappropriate curriculum about homosexuality, transgenderism, and political issues such as same-sex marriage or gay parenting.

To teach children about LGBT life is, in most cases, to introduce and suggest it to them at a time when they shouldn’t be encouraged to jump into it. But let’s say we want to teach kids about this sexual content at a young age to prepare them for the topsy-turvy world out there. The curriculum put forward by Welcoming Schools and other gay-affirming educational groups is not the right way to bring this topic to kids.

It is blatantly false, presenting LGBT life as untroubled and joyful. It equates all kinds of intercourse, glossing over the hygienic and epidemiological problems that afflict anal sex in particular. It romanticizes homes, relationships, friendships, and social circles tied to LGBT activities, all but coaxing the children to rush into those milieus expecting happiness and sunshine.

One problem is that this material should never be taught to minors in school at all. But a bigger problem is who is pushing this material right now.

These are the same people who’ve burned us a thousand times before, as I will elaborate in a series of posts on “These are the people who want to talk to your kids.” The movement behind these curricular changes found success almost entirely by threatening, embarrassing, and insulting people who stood in their way. They have never improved the lives of the people they claim to champion. Nor have they ever behaved in a dignified way to people who had reservations or objections to their work.

Gay Activists are After Your Children

Gay Activists are After Your Children

The homosexual movement seeks to grow by the indoctrination of our children, from toddlers to pre-schoolers, and from elementary school to college. LGBT activism thrives on indoctrination.

For example, in England, as far back as 2006, the National Union of Teachers (NUT) stated that, “It is particularly important to begin to make three to five-year-olds aware of the range of families that exist in the UK today; families with one mum, one mum and dad, two mums, two dads, grandparents, adoptive parents, guardians etc.” Full Article

And already in 2005, Kevin Jennings, then the Executive Director of GLSEN (the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Educational Network), noted that, in 1995, “Fewer than a hundred gay-straight alliances existed,” whereas in 2005, “Nearly 3,000 schools have GSA’s or other student clubs that deal with LGBT issues.”

Today, there are more than 900 GSA’s registered in California alone, with younger and younger kids being exposed to them. That means that your 12-year-old daughter can come out to her peers and her gay teachers at school without your knowledge. And this interaction and affirmation (and more) can go on for years, again, without your knowledge.

And let’s not forget that, for some years now, California has had mandatory LGBT history classes for all children in public schools, grades K-12, without exception and without the ability to opt out.

Parents Fight for Religious and Cultural Identity of their Children

Parents Fight for Religious and Cultural Identity of their Children

“The illusion of a Christian majority is now gone, and churches are going to have to articulate things they used to assume.”

This is going to be more difficult than it sounds. The first and most important challenge is for parents, who must devise ways of ensuring that they pass their beliefs and values on to their children. Gone are the days when the culture’s residual reliance on Judeo-Christian assumptions could reinforce what was heard in church and at home. Gone, in fact, are thousands of the churches. Instead, parents are faced with the task of teaching their children beliefs and values that run counter to virtually every cultural influence faced by children today: Hollywood films, the music industry, television shows, the state school system, and in many cases, even the government promote values that run directly contrary to the Christian worldview.  Full article at Lifesitenews.com

What is more dangerous still is the fact that the state is making an active attempt to stand between parents and children, utilizing the public school system not simply to teach, but to pass on a new set of values, values rooted not in Christian tradition but in the Sexual Revolution. The state is insisting that their educational arm should teach children about sexuality, from their own perspective.

Christians have to discard the dangerous idea that they can permit their children to be educated by the state and still expect their children to retain Christian beliefs and values.

The LGBT Movement Wants Alot MORE

Future of the LGBT Movement

Defeat “anti-LGBT” bills, change school policies and curriculum, amend the Civil Rights Act, (bring about) lawsuits, and new federal legislation.

Big business is helping carry the water for the policy goals of Human Rights Campaign and other LGBT advocacy organizations that are leading a dangerous assault on religious liberty on multiple fronts. The alliance between the Human Rights Campaign and its corporate sponsors like Target and Bank of America is a principle driver of the LGBT political movement. Full Article at Dailysignal.com

We have got to do so much more around ensuring that LGBT children and young people are fully included, integrated, and celebrated in every aspect of life—in their families, and schools, and communities, and faith communities. If we really do that, then we can break the cycle of harm that has caused so many of us to have a lot of trauma and problems as adults.

After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on same-sex marriage, many people of faith concluded they needed laws to protect their conscience rights so that they can run businesses, adoption agencies, and charity organizations in accord with their deeply held religious beliefs. “Religion is not the reason people are bigots,” he said. “It’s the excuse.”

To defeat their opponents, LGBT groups plan to go state by state to strike down religious freedom measures and, instead, implement their own laws on sexual orientation and gender identity.  They said they intend to do this until new federal law or court decisions negate that necessity.
