Richards is the daughter of the late Ann Richards, the Democratic governor of Texas during the early 1990s.

Susan B. Anthony List mourns the fact that 3.8 million unborn babies lost their lives at Planned Parenthood under Richards’ leadership. David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress said in a statement that after his video series led to multiple congressional investigations, Richards’ decision to step down “shows that the old strategy is no longer working as Planned Parenthood faces federal criminal investigation for selling aborted baby hearts, lungs, livers, and brains.” Full Article

In spite of Richards’ efforts to paint Planned Parenthood as not primarily centered on abortion, its latest financial report shows it killed 321,384 unborn children last year, the source of the vast majority of the abortion giant’s profits, which increased by 27 percent — from $77.5 million in 2015 to $98.5 million in 2017. The marketing of Planned Parenthood as a magnanimous and comprehensive health care provider for untold scores of women who will otherwise never see a real doctor and thus die of cancer … it’s all a lie. Women have thousands of other options – and far better ones.

The mission of Planned Parenthood is not cancer screenings. It’s abortion. If tomorrow Planned Parenthood could no longer commit abortions, they would close their doors. It’s that simple. The organization exists for the purpose of profiting from abortions. And at least now Cecile is finally admitting it. She wants that half a billion in taxpayer dollars, all right, but to keep it she’s not about to melt down Planned Parenthood’s golden calf. Its mission is abortion. Full Article

Clinton offers no incentives for stay-at-home parents, something critics view as an intentional sleight. “The Democrats, under the influence of the feminist bloc, don’t want to give any recognition to stay at home parenting, because they fear – rightly so – that women may like it,” Dr. Allan C. Carlson of the Howard Center for Family, Religion, and Society told LifeSiteNews in 2012.

Mr. Trump’s plan differs significantly from that of Hillary Clinton, who has long said she subscribes to the philosophy that “it takes a village to raise a child.”

Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards blasted Trump’s plan on Twitter, calling it “ridiculous” That inspired a number of outraged reactions. “Why do you care?” asked Jeff Dunetz, who goes by the Twitter handle @yidwithlid. “You want the babies ripped out of their moms so you can sell their parts.”
