Buffet, Soros and Wealthy Elite Fund Abortion

George Soros and World Wealthy Elite Fund Abortion

Warren Buffett’s foundation is by far the largest contributor–over $70 million in one year alone! Planned Parenthood’s political action committee, committed to electing pro-abortion candidates, got a cool $7,250,000 from Buffett’s foundation. Full article at nationalrighttolifenews.org

George Soros and his Open Society Institute (OPI) have also been major players. On the Open society Institute’s 2013 Form 990 PF, the most recent available, OPI gave Planned Parenthood PPFA $1,650,000 “to address health disparities in the south and southeast regions of the United States.

The David and Lucille Packard Foundation, gave the Guttmacher Institute, an independent agency $2,820,000 for “Population and Reproductive Health”.

In the early days, the wealthy elite funded Planned Parenthood’s efforts to halt the “breeding” of the lower classes. Tax forms recently made available by foundations of some of the nation’s wealthiest families show that, rather than waning, that interest has grown, now helping to fund not only Planned Parenthood, but also a worldwide abortion empire.

In the end, no amount of noble sounding rhetoric about how money will be used to rid the world of poverty, disease, hunger will be able to mask to whom the money is going and the purposes for which it will be used. The best spin money can buy cannot mask the reality of what abortion is and what it does to not just a mother and her unborn child, but how it destroys an economy and a nation.

In the meantime, the hundreds of millions this enormously wealthy handful of individuals and foundations gives to abortion promoting and performing groups will, for now, keep them operating, help them to get out their messages, and put many of their political candidates in office.

Removing the Fear of Downs Syndrome

New TV series Born This Way

The biggest factor that drives prejudice is fear, and fear is driven by not knowing. The great thing about ‘Born This Way‘ is now the world knows seven adults — and soon they’ll know three more — that have Down syndrome, and they never knew them before. Complete story at ChristianPost.com

Navigating this world as a young adult can be brutal. For example, the dating scene can be a minefield of drama and emotion. This is a part of life experienced by most everyone—including young adults with Down syndrome.  They deal with the same issues as everyone else. If this surprises you, it shouldn’t.
And it won’t if you join a rapidly growing number of viewers discovering a new television series that lets you see why those with Down syndrome are just like you and me in most ways. It’s becoming hugely popular. Full story at Lifeissues.org
The A&E Network is in its second season of production of the new TV series Born This Way. It takes you into the lives of a handful of young adults who happen to have Down syndrome (DS). And it’s opening the eyes, minds and hearts of viewers to the reality that people with DS can and should be mainstreamed into everyday society.
The popularity of the programs is a good sign in our society because currently 67% of unborn babies diagnosed with DS are aborted. This is especially tragic because, as Born This Way clearly demonstrates, individuals with Down syndrome (or “Up” syndrome as Steven likes to say) are a blessing and joy to be around.

Pope Francis To Youth: Don’t Settle for Couch Potato Life

“The times we live in do not call for young ‘couch potatoes’ but for young people with shoes, or better, boots laced. It only takes players on the first string, and it has no room for bench-warmers,” Pope Francis said. Full Article Inés San Martín Vatican Correspondent July 30, 2016 cruxnow.com

His Holiness Pope Francis

His Holiness Pope Francis

Talking to young people on Saturday night in Krakow, Poland, where they’ve been participating in a week-long rally called World Youth Day, Francis warned them against the “sofa-happiness,” calling it the most “harmful and insidious form of paralysis.” A sofa, he said, that “makes us feel comfortable, calm, safe,” away from any kind of pain or fear, spending hours playing video games or in front of a computer screen.

He said it’s a dangerous paralysis because as “we start to nod off” other people, “more alert” but “not necessarily better, decide our future for us.” For many people, Francis warned, it’s better to have drowsy, tone-deaf and dull kids who confuse happiness with a sofa.

“For many people, that is more convenient than having young people who are alert and searching, trying to respond to God’s dream and to all the restlessness present in the human heart,” the pope said, adding that they hadn’t come into this world to “vegetate, to take it easy” but to “leave a mark.”

“But when we opt for ease and convenience, for confusing happiness with consumption, then we end up paying a high price indeed: we lose our freedom,” Francis said. Following Jesus, the pope continued, demands courage and a readiness to change the couch for walking shoes.

The week I left the Democratic Party

Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus

We pro-life citizens are an unwelcome group among the Dems. Like many pro-life Democrats, I had been dispirited by the inclusion in the 2016 Democratic Party Platform of the repeal of the Hyde Amendment. Article by Timothy P. O’Malley

As a lower class kid growing up in East Tennessee, I know that sometimes we need government and Church assistance alike to pay the bills for a month or to have presents on Christmas morning. This personal narrative has been the reason I’ve been able to belong to a political party that has over my lifetime become increasingly hostile toward its pro-life membership. In my conscience, I’ve seen the rise of pro-choice politics in the Democratic Party as an unreasonable aberration, a strange denial of the human dignity of the unborn in a party that at least purports to affirm the dignity of those on the margins.

I naively imagined that there was a place at the table for someone like me, formed in a Church that has affirmed the dignity of all human life from conception to natural death. If anyone can be president, as this convention has said again and again, shouldn’t it also be the case that unplanned children may also occupy this office?

Children who come at the wrong time are best disposed of. Only children who come into our lives when we want should be kept.

The Democratic Party Sells out to Abortion!

Mount Rushmore @ www.prolifenewsflash.org

The Democratic National Convention, is making me sick. The Democratic Party has never been so extreme on abortion. They have sold out to the abortion industry.

Long gone are the days of the Democrats calling for abortion to be safe, legal and rare. Their reaction to the recent Supreme Court ruling against health & safety regulations for abortion facilities makes it clear that they don’t care about abortion being safe. And the party platform they approved on Monday which calls for the repeal of the Hyde Amendment tells us that they don’t want abortion to be rare either.

Earlier this morning, Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America and Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY’s List were given time on the DNC stage to support pro-abortion legislators and call for even more extreme pro-abortion laws. And on Monday night, the Democratic Party honored Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood (the largest abortion business in the United States), by seating her right next to Bill Clinton. And then when she took to the stage for her prime-time speaking slot last night, she proudly exclaimed, “Hillary has always been in Planned Parenthood’s corner.” And she is correct.

This is unprecedented. The Democratic Party has never been so extreme on abortion. And the stakes have never been higher. We must keep our pro-life majority in the Senate, and we must ensure that Hillary Clinton is never permitted to become Commander-in-Chief. That’s why your SBA List team has been on the ground since October of last year, knocking on over 465,000 doors in Florida, North Carolina and Ohio to educate voters on Clinton’s extremism, and to get out the pro-life vote. Our ambitious goal is to knock on 1,000,000 doors by November – a goal we can reach with your partnership.

Now is the time to take a stand for LIFE. Please make a generous gift today to enable us to continue our critical field program in key swing states and fight Planned Parenthood’s abortion extremism. Make your gift here: https://www.sba-list.org/donate

Thank you for standing with the Susan B. Anthony List against the sickening pro-abortion extremism of Hillary Clinton and a Democratic Party that is sold out to the Abortion Industry.

Is VP Pick, Tim Kaine, REALLY a Catholic?

Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, Catholic Diocese of Providence, R.I.

Apparently, and unfortunately, his (Catholic) faith isn’t central to his public, political life.

Democratic VP choice, Tim Kaine, has been widely identified as a Roman Catholic. It is also reported that he publicly supports ‘freedom of choice’ for abortion, same-sex marriage, gay adoptions, and the ordination of women as priests. “All of these positions are clearly contrary to well-established Catholic teachings; all of them have been opposed by Pope Francis as well” according to Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, Catholic Diocese of Providence, R.I. www.cnsnews.com/blog

Kaine has emphasized his support for Roe v. Wade and is a co-sponsor of a bill that would dismantle pro-life laws across the country.  He has a perfect pro-abortion voting record in the Senate. www.lifesitenews.com

A Dominican priest is taking on presumptive Democrat vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine and his claims of being a faithful Catholic. In a tweet addressed to Sen. Kaine of Virginia published Sunday, Fr. Thomas Petri, OP, wrote: “Do us both a favor. Don’t show up in my communion line. I take Canon 915 seriously. It’d be embarrassing for you & for me.”  www.churchmilitant.com

Right to Life of Michigan Pro Life Commercial

Right to Life of Michigan Pro Life Commercial

This coming election is critical for those involved in the abortion debate. Republican nominee Donald Trump just named Mike Pence, the Indiana governor who has spent his political career working tirelessly in defense of the unborn, as his choice for vice president. Meanwhile, the likely Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton consistently reveals her extreme pro-abortion stance.

Recently Right to Life of Michigan released a compelling new video asking voters to support pro-life candidates in the coming election. LifeNews.com Full Article

The ad reminds viewers of the value and worth of every life. Protecting the lives of all, particularly the oppressed and disadvantaged, are among the fundamental tenants of the pro-life movement.

The Neurologists Couldn’t Believe She was Talking

He had been caught bringing to her apple juice on a sponge in an attempt to save her life. Then he had been stopped from visiting her.

The hospice facility made the decision to withdraw Tabetha’s food, as doctors believed she would not recover from the lack of oxygen to her brain. At the time, Tabetha was partially responsive in that she could blink her eyes and move one arm. LifeLegalDefenseFoundation Full Story

When her boyfriend, John, went to visit her, he was amazed to find her speaking and responding to him. She even asked him to bring her a sausage biscuit sandwich!
John immediately notified the hospice staff and asked that they give her something to eat. To his shock, the staff refused saying that she was not to receive any food whatsoever. In other words, they were planning to starve to death a woman who was clearly communicating that she wanted to live.
John called Life Legal and we worked with a local Life Legal attorney to have Tabetha transferred from hospice to the hospital and, most recently, to a brain rehabilitation facility.

Jack Phillips Last Stand – Appeals to Supreme Court

Walking into Jacks Masterpiece Cake Shop is akin to walking into an art gallery of cakes. Jack Phillips creates a masterpiece! Custom designs are his specialty: If you can think it up, he can make it into a cake! The Jack Phillips Video Story

By Marissa Mayer Posted on: | July 22, 2016

Today, Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop in Colorado, asked the United State Supreme Court to hear his case, Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Craig, and preserve his freedom to live and work in accordance with his beliefs.

The only other baker, photographer, and florist case to reach the Supreme Court thus far was Elane Photography v. Willock in 2014, involving Alliance Defending Freedom clients Elaine and Jonathan Huguenin. You’ll remember it as the case where a New Mexico Supreme Court Justice remarked that Elaine’s participation in events that violate her conscience is “the price of citizenship.”

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court declined to hear the Huguenins’ case, but as time has shown, the legal battles to protect the right of Christians to freely live out their faith in their chosen professions are just beginning.  Will the Supreme Court agree to hear Jack’s case? Here are five reasons why they should. Full Article at adflegal.org

Eyewitness report: Trump’s Meeting with Evangelical Leaders

President Donald J Trump

With Trump we have a chance. With Clinton we have no chance. This meeting was not about Trump’s Christian knowledge or virtues, but rather where he wants to take the country. I was one of over 1,000 Christian Leaders “inside the room” for an historic meeting with Donald Trump.

Christian leaders from all over the U.S. gathered to ask Donald Trump tough, specific questions about his policy and intentions should he be elected President. Event organizers originally requested Dallas, Texas as a central location for this meeting, hoping to attract some 200-300 national Christian leaders. But the only opening on Trump’s schedule was in NYC for 20 minutes, 30 days out. So they took the date.

A screening committee sent out invitations to about 1000 Christian leaders. With the high expense of flying into and staying in NYC, and with the date less than 30 days away, they reserved a room for only 100 people at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Each person who accepted the invitation then had to be vetted, both by security and by the Secret Service. Once cleared, each was notified by phone.

Despite the short notice, response was off-the-charts. Almost every person invited accepted the invitation, with many more requesting inclusion. Ultimately there were over 1000 in attendance. Security was tight, including three checkpoints plus Secret Service security.

At my table, I was astonished to be sitting with: a registered lobbyist for George W Bush, a Congressional candidate from North Carolina, a Florida Christian TV station owner, and Chairman of the Board of the Washington Times, also Steeling conference speakers in the room.

After opening remarks by conference organizers, Jerry Falwell Jr. spoke, then Franklin Graham. Both attested to the authenticity of Donald Trump. Polling official George Barna presented several charts, showing that Trump has a genuine path to victory if Christians vote. But in the last Presidential election, some 40 million Evangelicals stayed home – literally making the difference in the election.

Then Ben Carson spoke for about 20 minutes. His easy and soft-spoken style easily warmed the crowd. He pointed out that Trump had a bad three weeks, and Clinton had a good three weeks, and yet the race is still close, virtually tied. His main point was that Trump is a proven leader. He’s certainly not a politician, always worried about offending someone. And that’s what we need, a leader, not a politician.

Next came Huckabee, who moderated the discussion. Before introducing Trump, he made the point that we’re not voting on a pastor, or a Pope, but rather a leader. A leader who is quite different from the past, one who is able to change the status quo. He explained that this meeting was not about Trump’s Christian knowledge or virtues, but rather where he wants to take the country – and where we’re headed if Trump is not elected.

The biggest concern centered around the Supreme Court. The next President will appoint at least one, and up to five, new Supreme Court Justices. The Second Amendment, public bathroom policies, prayer in public places, churches’ tax-exempt status, etc. will likely be settled by the next President’s appointees.

When Trump was introduced, he didn’t speak from the podium, but rather sat with Huckabee on the stage, fielding questions for 90 minutes. (So much for the 20 minutes originally allotted – Trump truly wanted to be there!) No press was allowed, only Trump and the Christian leaders. Several prominent Christians asked Trump questions directly from the floor – James Dobson, Ralph Reed, Tony Perkins, etc. Most felt religious liberty was at stake in this election, saying that if the policies Obama has set in motion were allowed to continue, Christians would eventually have no liberty. Harassment of Christian organizations would continue and increase.

Through it all, Trump answered each question with solid answers, acknowledging each problem cited and explaining how he would take care of that problem. He seemed to be genuinely concerned about changing the dangerous direction of our nation. He addressed many subjects including the Supreme Court, national defense, border problems, Christian persecution, his pro-life stance, Israel, healthcare, education and energy.

Trump left to a standing ovation. Many who arrived unsure if they would vote for him, left convinced of how much is at stake in this election if Trump is not elected. Attendees came away knowing that if Clinton is elected, our nation’s current path WILL lead to disaster. If we don’t turn the ship now, we’ll soon be like socialized Europe – a disaster getting worse by the minute. Even the problems Venezuela is facing, with the population literally fighting for food, is not out of the realm of grim possibility. Don’t think it can’t happen here.

Afterwards, more questions were taken, addressed to a panel of Christian leaders. Subjects included dismantling the military, Christian business rights, etc. and were discussed in length.

At the end of the meeting was prayer. With few exceptions, the entire room knelt on the floor in corporate prayer for our nation. What a sight – some 1000 Christian leaders in their Sunday best, on the ground praying together. Who knows how God will move? Our hope is in Christ; our prayer is that even should the Lord take out His Church at the Rapture, He will take us out in revival, not out of spiritual disaster. We must finish well.

I love the Constitution more than I dislike Trump. He will attempt to change the direction of this nation. With Trump we have a chance. With Clinton we have no chance. Be thankful we still  have a chance and Please VOTE your conscience on November 8!
